How does the Bio Bidet clean the user?
When you select a wash programme, the spray nozzle extends from the base of the bidet seat, washes itself and then sprays a stream of warm aerated water. When the programme is complete or when you press the “stop” button, the nozzle washes itself again and retracts into the base of the bidet seat.

Does the nozzle touch the user?
No! The only thing that touches the user is clean, warm aerated water.

Can I be sure that the Bio Bidet will clean me effectively?
Today’s Bio Bidet is the result of many years of development; you can rely on it to clean you. If you have any doubt, you can run the wash programme again.

Does the Bio Bidet affect the flushing of the toilet?
No! Although the Bio Bidet uses the same water supply as the toilet cistern, they operate independently of each other.

How does the dryer work?
It works like a hair dryer. The temperature can be set to the user’s preference.

How difficult is it to install the Bio Bidet?
The Bio Bidet requires a water supply and mains electricity. Bio Bidet was the first electronic bidet seat approved for direct connection to the water main in the UK. It would normally be plumbed into the water supply feeding the toilet cistern (using the flexible hose and Tee connector supplied) provided the pressure is at least 0.4 bar. The Bio Bidet is equipped with a power cord that can be plugged into a standard domestic power socket. When fitted in a bathroom it would normally be connected via a switched spur box and RCD. This should be done by a qualified electrician.

Does the Bio Bidet require any routine maintenance?
The only user maintenance required is the occasional cleaning of the nozzle with a soft toothbrush.
